World class sport fishing is availible to you at Cheeca Lodge. Islamorada is known as the "Sport Fishing Capital of the World." Catch sailfish, wahoo, permit, bonefish, tarpon, shark, mackerel, tuna, dolphin, grouper, snapper, marlin or one of over 600 species of fish that reside in the waters near Islamorada. Not interested into deep sea fishing? Fish off our pier for a simple fishing adventure close to the resort. Our chefs will prepare you a box lunch for your fishing adventure, as well as cook your catch to order. Interested? Call your concierge desk, when you arrive, to get prices and more information.

Looking for a challenge? Hit the links on our beautifully landscaped par-three executive course. Want to brush up on your swing? On-site golf professionals offer a golf clinic for $15/per person or one-hour private lessons for $55. The course is open from 7 a.m. to dusk, and it's free, the golf game fee is included in the daily resort fee.

Hit the courts! Cheeca has six all weather lighted tennis courts. Need help on your back hand? Not to worry, Cheeca Lodge has tennis professionals on-site providing group and private lessons daily. For more information, prices, and availibility call the Sport Shop once you arrive.

Dive in and enjoy all the water sports that Cheeca Lodge has to offer. Snorkel, sail, kayak, windsurf or swim the Atlantic becuase it's time to get wet and Cheeca Lodge has ya covered. Snorkel with tropic fish, or kick it up and try your hand at wind surfing, either way your going to have a blast! Looking for something more educational and relaxing? Cheeca offers enviromental boat trips where local captains explore and teach about Indian Key, Lignum Vitae Key, or Everglades National Park. A fun and energetic day awaits your little ones at Camp Cheeca. For ages 5 and up, the daily activies include fishing off the pier, arts & crafts, scavenger hunts, swimming, snorkeling, sand sculptures, herbit crab races, and beach exploration. Evening events such as games, activites, pizza dinner, and an age approprite movie will conclude the even. Pre-registration is required so call the concierge desk before or right after you arrive at the resort.
